Web 2.0 is a enlightened environment where site visitors get to generate the content that is published and used through applications. I will talk more about the tech side of web 2.0 later.
For now I want to focus on what it means. First thing to understand is the reason it is gaining so much ground is due largly to the increase of broadband conections and the new computers we use.
Try to access your favorite site on an old computer on dialup and you will find it slow and most dont do anything but freeze up. Due to the mega ram and dual or quad processors we now have problem solved.
So now it is much easier for us to share with new friends, experts on various topics or the world. Lets start with social networks and Social Bookmarking more and more of them start up every week lets look at my favorites next time
